Shift Solenoid Valve Body Disassemble

^ Tools Required
- J 33163 Valve Tray Set
- J 43773 Valve Spring Compressor





Important: To help prevent confusing parts on reassembly, use J 33163 to store the removed shift valve body assembly valves, springs, and stops.

1. Using J 43773 (2), compress the shift solenoid C spring until the retaining clip (1) is loose.
2. Remove the clip.





3. Remove the shift solenoid C valve spring (2) and shift solenoid C shift valve (1).





4. Using J 43773 (2), compress the shift solenoid E shift spring until the retaining clip (1) is loose.
5. Remove the clip.





6. Remove shift solenoid E shift plug (3), spring (2), and shift solenoid E shift valve (1).





7. Using J 43773 (2), compress the shift solenoid D shift valve spring until the retaining clip (1) is loose.
8. Remove the clip.





9. Remove shift solenoid D shift plug (3), spring (2), and shift solenoid D shift valve (1).





10. Using J 43773 (2), compress the control main valve spring until retaining clip (1) is loose.
11. Remove the clip.





12. Remove the control main spring (2) and the control main valve (1).





13. Remove the shift solenoid screen (1).
