Headliner Replacement - Rear
Caution: Do not attempt to repair or alter the head impact energy-absorbing material glued to the headliner or to the garnish trims. If the material is damaged, replace the headliner and/or the garnish trim. Failure to do so could result in personal injury.
Removal Procedure
Important: Do not disconnect the headliner wire harness from the junction block.
1. Lower the front section of the headliner and suitably support. Refer to Headliner Replacement.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the rear corner moldings.
4. Remove the rear upper trim molding.
5. Remove the rear coat hook.
6. Carefully release the headliner from the roof support Velcro(R) retainers.
7. Remove the headliner from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the rear section of the headliner to the vehicle.
2. Secure the headliner to the roof support Velcro(R) retainers.
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the rear coat hook.
5. Install the rear upper trim molding.
6. Install the rear corner molding.
7. Install the front section of the headliner.
