Moveable Roof Panel Motor/Actuator Replacement

MOVEABLE ROOF PANEL MOTOR/ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the moveable roof panel.
2. Remove the moveable roof panel actuator cover.




3. Remove the bolts (2) retaining the moveable roof panel actuator to the moveable roof panel assembly.
4. Remove the actuator from the moveable roof panel assembly.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the actuator.
6. Remove the actuator from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the moveable roof panel actuator.
2. Install the actuator to the moveable roof panel assembly.
3. Install the bolts (2) retaining the actuator to the moveable roof panel assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the actuator bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

4. Install the moveable roof panel actuator cover.
5. Install the moveable roof panel.
