Folding Top Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure






Caution: Refer to Servicing Electrical Components Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Place the folding top with the #1 bow and #5 bow in the up position.
2. Open the rear compartment.
3. Disconnect the battery.
4. Remove the rear compartment side carpet.




5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the folding top control module (2).
6. Remove the control module by lifting up to release the hook and loop fastener.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the folding top control module (2).
2. Install the rear compartment carpet.
3. Connect the battery.
4. Close the rear compartment.
5. Inspect the folding top for proper operation.
