Seat Replacement



SEAT REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable the Sir. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in Restraint Systems.

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Service Precautions.

2. If seat is equipped with power seat motors, disconnect the electrical connector from the seat assembly.




3. Remove the nuts (3) that retain the seat assembly to the vehicle.
4. Remove the front seat assembly from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the front seat assembly into the vehicle.
2. Install the nuts (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the nuts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the seat assembly, if equipped with power seat motors.
4. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in Restraint Systems.
