Auxiliary Cabin Heater Control Module: Service and Repair



HEATER COOLANT HEATER CONTROL REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Disconnect the fuel operated heater (FOH) electrical connectors.




3. Remove the FOH control module upper retaining screws.
4. Remove the FOH control module lower retaining screws.
5. Remove the FOH control module from the coolant heater.
6. Disconnect the FOH control module to coolant heater electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the FOH control module to coolant heater electrical connector.
2. Install the FOH control module to the coolant heater.




3. Install the FOH control module retaining screws.
- Tighten the upper screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Tighten the lower screws to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Connect the FOH electrical connectors.
5. Lower the vehicle.
