Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Remove the muffler.
2. Drill out and remove the 4 heat shield rivets (1).
3. Remove the heat shield nut (2).
4. Remove the heat shield.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the exhaust heat shield to the underbody.

2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Service Precautions.

Install the exhaust heat shield nut (2).
Tighten the nut to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
3. Install 4 NEW heat shield rivets (1).
4. Install the muffler.
