Power Window Motor: Service and Repair



ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT - REAR QUARTER WINDOW

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear corner upper garnish molding.




2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear quarter window actuator (1).
3. Remove the rear quarter window actuator retaining bolts (2).
4. Remove the screw that attaches the actuator arm to the window.
5. Remove the actuator from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the actuator assembly (1) to the vehicle.
2. Install the screw that attaches the actuator arm to the window.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the rear quarter window actuator retaining bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Connect the electrical connector to the rear quarter window actuator.
5. Install the rear corner upper garnish molding.
