Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair



EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the evaporator core.
2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor clips.
3. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: The tip of the temperature sensor should be located at the center of the 4th fin from the passenger side. The sensor should not come in contact with the evaporator surface.




1. Install the evaporator temperature sensor.
2. Connect the evaporator temperature sensor clips.
3. Install the evaporator core.
