Ambient Light Sensor: Service and Repair

DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) AMBIENT LIGHT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) upper trim.




2. Remove the security system LED.
3. Twist the daytime running lamp (DRL) sensor counterclockwise in order to remove the sensor from the I/P upper trim.
4. Remove the DRL sensor from the wiring harness.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the DRL sensor to the wiring harness.
2. Position the DRL sensor in the I/P upper trim and twist the sensor to secure.
3. Install the security system LED.
4. Install the I/P upper trim.
