Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

Mass Air Flow (MAF)/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the MAF/IAT sensor connector.
3. Loosen the MAF/IAT sensor screw (2).
4. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the MAF/IAT sensor (1).
2. Tighten the MAF/IAT sensor screw (2).

Tightening torque: 8 N-m (69 lb in)

3. Connect the MAF/IAT sensor connector.
