Generator Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LS3 or LS7) (Generator Replacement)Generator Replacement (LS9) (Generator Replacement).
2. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS3, LS7) (Service and Repair)Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS9) (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the generator bracket bolts, bracket, and power steering reservoir bracket.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the generator bracket, power steering reservoir bracket and generator bracket bolts to the cylinder head.

Tighten the generator bracket bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).

2. Install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS3, LS7) (Service and Repair)Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS9) (Service and Repair).
3. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (LS3 or LS7) (Generator Replacement)Generator Replacement (LS9) (Generator Replacement).
