Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the low pressure switch electrical connector (2).
2. Remove the low pressure switch (1) from the accumulator.
3. Remove the O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the new O-ring seal to the switch. Refer to O-Ring Replacement (O-Ring Replacement).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the A/C low pressure switch (1) to the accumulator and tighten to4 Nm (35 lb in).
3. Connect the low pressure switch electrical connector (2).
4. Leak test the fittings of the component using the J 39400-A .
