- Starter/Generator Control Module Not Programmed
Circuit/System Description
The starter/generator control module (SGCM) monitors to detect internal fault. If a fault is detected, the appropriate DTC will set.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The SGCM has received a wake up signal.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The SGCM has detected an internal fault.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
The hybrid system is disabled.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The SGCM is successfully programmed.

Circuit/System Verification
1. With a scan tool, clear the DTC.
2. Ignition OFF, wait 30 seconds.
3. If the DTC is resets , program the SGCM.
4. Ignition ON, verify that the latest service software is installed.
5. Ignition ON, operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC and verify the DTC does not reset.
• If the DTC resets, replace the SGCM.
Repair Instructions
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.
