HVAC Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate.
2. Remove the HVAC control module bolts/screws.
3. Pull the HVAC control module straight out from the I/P.
4. Disconnect the HVAC control module electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the HVAC control module electrical connectors.
2. Install the HVAC control module into the I/P opening.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the HVAC control module bolts/screws and tighten to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).
4. Install the I/P accessory trim plate.
5. Re-calibrate the actuators. Refer to Actuator Recalibration Programming and Relearning.
