Heater Coolant Heater Blower Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the heater coolant heater. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Replacement (Heater Coolant Heater Replacement).
2. Remove the heater coolant heater glow plug. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Glow Plug Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the heater coolant heater blower cover retaining screws (1).
4. Remove the heater coolant heater blower cover.
5. Remove the heater coolant heater blower retaining screws (3).
Important: Remove and discard the gasket.
6. Remove the heater coolant heater blower (4) from the combustion unit.
Important: Note the routing of the wiring to ensure proper installation.
7. Using J-38125-560 remove the heater coolant heater blower wiring from the electrical connector.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the heater coolant heater blower wiring to the electrical connector.
2. Install the heater coolant heater blower (4) to the combustion unit with a new gasket.
3. Install the heater coolant heater blower retaining screws (3).
Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).
4. Install the heater coolant heater blower cover.
5. Install the heater coolant heater blower cover retaining screws (1).
Tighten the screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).
6. Install the heater coolant heater glow plug. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Glow Plug Replacement (Service and Repair).
7. Install the heater coolant heater. Refer to Heater Coolant Heater Replacement (Heater Coolant Heater Replacement).
8. Lower the vehicle.
