Lumbar Support

Lumbar Support Description and Operation

The driver lumbar support system consists of the following components:

* Lumbar adjuster switch
* Seat lumbar motor
* PWR SEAT circuit breaker 30A
* Lumbar support bar

Power and ground

Battery positive voltage is supplied at all times to the lumbar adjuster switch from the PWR SEAT circuit breaker. Ground is supplied to the lumbar adjuster switch from G301.

Lumbar Support System Operation

When the lumbar adjuster switch is pressed to increase or decrease lumbar support, the lumbar adjuster switch provides voltage and ground to the appropriate terminals of the seat lumbar motor. The seat lumbar motor then moves the lumbar support bar in the requested direction.
