Exhaust Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LZ4, LZE, or LGD) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold pipe gasket (2).




3. Remove and discard the catalytic converter to muffler gasket (2).




4. Remove and discard the catalytic converter to muffler seal.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW catalytic converter to muffler gasket (2).




2. Install a NEW exhaust manifold pipe gasket (2).
3. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LZ4, LZE, or LGD) (Service and Repair).
