Piston Oil Nozzle Cleaning and Inspection

1. Clean the piston oil nozzle in cleaning solvent. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for recommended cleaners.

Warning

Wear safety glasses in order to avoid eye damage.

2. Dry the nozzle with compressed air.
3. Inspect the piston oil nozzle for the following:

* For cracks or damage
* Plugged oil passages (1)
* Bent, misaligned, or cracked oil nozzle tubes (2)
* Bent or broken clip (3)
