Door Jamb Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the door.
2. Remove the screw retaining the door jamb switch (1) to the body.
3. Remove the door jamb switch (1) from the body.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector to the door jamb switch (1).
2. Install the door jamb switch (1) to the body.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the screw retaining the door jam switch to the body.

Tighten the door jamb switch screw to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in).

4. Close the door.
