Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair




Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) harness connector.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly hold down screw.
3. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct hose clamp.
4. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air cleaner assembly.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct hose clamp to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
3. Install the air cleaner assembly hold down screw.
4. Connect the MAF harness connector.
