Removal Procedure
1. Drain the coolant. Refer toCooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LGH, LML) (Service and Repair)
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer toAir Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair)
3. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at the surge tank usingJ 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the surge tank.
5. Disconnect the quick connect (1) at the radiator.
6. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) at the heater outlet hose usingJ 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers
7. Remove the radiator outlet hose clip retainers (3) from the brackets.
8. Remove the radiator outlet hose (4) from the radiator.
9. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) from the engine.
10. Remove the radiator outlet hose clip retainers (2) from the engine shield.
11. Remove the radiator outlet hose (3) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the radiator outlet hose (3) to the vehicle.
2. Install the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) to the engine.
3. Install the radiator outlet hose clip retainers (2) to the engine shield.
4. Install the radiator outlet hose (4) from the radiator.
5. Install the radiator outlet hose clip retainers (3) to the brackets.
6. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (2) at the heater outlet hose usingJ 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers
7. Disconnect the quick connect (1) at the radiator.
8. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the surge tank.
9. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at the surge tank usingJ 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers
10. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer toAir Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair)
11. Fill the coolant. Refer toCooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LGH, LML) (Service and Repair)
