Removal Procedure




1. Remove the park brake backing plate. Refer to Rear Parking Brake Anchor Backing Plate Replacement Service and Repair.
2. Remove the rear brake shield from the axle housing flange.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear brake shield to the axle housing flange.
2. Install the park brake backing plate. Refer to Rear Parking Brake Anchor Backing Plate Replacement Service and Repair.
