Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the front and rear doors.

2. Partially detach the front door opening weatherstrip around the center pillar lower trim.

3. Partially detach the rear door opening weatherstrip around the center pillar lower trim.





4. Grasp and spread both sides at the top of the center pillar lower trim panel (2) and then pull away from the center pillar, disengaging it from the center pillar upper trim panel (1).

5. Grasp and spread both sides at the bottom of the center pillar lower trim panel (2) and then pull away from the center pillar, disengaging it from the door sill plate (3).

Note:
If retention clips are broken during trim removal, replace with part number shown in EPC.

6. Remove the center pillar lower trim panel (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Note:

* Make sure the center pillar lower trim panel retaining clips align with the clip mounting cavities on the center pillar upper trim panel and door sill plate.

* If retention clips are broken during trim installation, replace with part number shown in EPC.

1. Position the center pillar lower trim panel (1) onto the center pillar upper trim panel and door sill plate.

Note:
Make sure the center pillar lower trim panel has securely seated onto the center pillar upper trim panel and door sill plate.

2. Firmly push the center pillar lower trim panel (1) onto center pillar upper trim panel and door sill plate.

3. Attach the rear door opening weatherstrip around the center pillar lower trim

4. Attach the front door opening weatherstrip around the center pillar lower trim.
