Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning:

Note:
Take care not to damage the paint on the vehicle when prying the windshield pillar garnish moulding from the windshield pillar.

1. Use a suitable tool to carefully pry the windshield pillar garnish moulding front from the windshield pillar.





2. Remove the windshield pillar garnish moulding by sliding the moulding towards the roof, to remove the retaining tabs (2) from the fender.

3. Remove the windshield pillar garnish moulding (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Note:
Align the locating marks on the reveal moulding (2) with the locating marks on the windshield.

1. Install the windshield pillar garnish moulding retaining tabs (2) to the fender.

2. Install the windshield pillar garnish moulding to the retaining clip on the windshield pillar.

3. Slide the windshield pillar garnish moulding towards the roof weld joint reveal moulding until the windshield pillar garnish moulding is flush with the roof weld joint reveal moulding.
