Parking Brake Indicator Switch Replacement (9C3)

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front floor console right side panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3) Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3)Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1) Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1).

2. Disconnect the parking brake indicator switch electrical connector (1).

3. Remove the parking brake indicator switch screw (4).

4. Remove the parking brake indicator switch (2) from the park brake lever assembly (3).

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the parking brake indicator switch electrical connector (1).

2. Install the parking brake indicator switch (2) to the park brake lever assembly (3).

3. Install the parking brake indicator switch screw (4) and tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

4. Install the front floor console right side panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3) Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C3)Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1) Front Floor Console Side Cover Replacement - Right Side (9C1).
