Battery Tray Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Battery Replacement.





2. Remove the rear electrical center (1) and the rear body harness connectors (2) from the battery tray.





3. Remove the battery tray mounting bolts (1).





4. Remove the fuel pump flow control module (1) and the harness retainer (2) from the underside of the battery tray (3). Refer to Fuel Pump Flow Control Module Replacement Service and Repair.

5. Remove the battery tray (3) from the rear compartment.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the fuel pump flow control module (1) and the harness retainer (2) to the underside of the battery tray (3). Refer to Fuel Pump Flow Control Module Replacement Service and Repair.





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the battery tray mounting bolts (1) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).





3. Install the rear electrical center (1) and body harness connectors (2) to the battery tray retainers.

4. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement Battery Replacement.
