Lift Off Panel Weatherstrip Retainer Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the roof panel , place the roof panel upside down on a flat protective surface.

2. Remove the side weatherstrip. Refer to Lift Off Panel Weatherstrip Replacement Lift Off Panel Weatherstrip Replacement.





3. Remove the screws attaching the retainer to the roof panel.

4. Remove the retainer.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the retainer to the roof panel, ensure that the molded end of the rubber is located towards the front of the roof panel.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the forward screw aligning the retainer fore and aft.

Note:
Stripped, broken, or improperly seated screws must be replaced or repaired to prevent water leaks.

3. Install the remaining screws.

Tighten the side weatherstrip retainer screws to 3 Nm (27 lb in).

4. Install the roof panel.
