Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side.

2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the bank 2 exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor (4).




3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt and sensor (4).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the CMP sensor (4) and bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




2. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) to the bank 2 exhaust CMP sensor (4).

3. Install the engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Side.
