Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the ignition OFF.





2. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1) from the CMP sensor (2).





3. Remove the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt (1).

4. Remove the CMP sensor from the engine front cover (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the CMP sensor (2) to the engine front cover.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the CMP sensor to engine front cover retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).





3. Install the CMP sensor electrical connector (1) to the CMP sensor.
