Driveline Support Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Support the propeller shaft with safety stands.





3. Remove the center bearing bolts (3).





4. Remove the propeller shaft hanger bolts.

5. Remove the propeller shaft hanger.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the propeller shaft hanger.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the propeller shaft hanger bolts and tighten to 52 Nm (38 lb ft).





3. Install the center bearing (5) to the propeller shaft hanger (1).

4. Install the center bearing support bolts (3) and tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).

5. Remove the safety stands.

6. Lower the vehicle.
