Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to.Oil Pan Replacement Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the oil level sensor electrical connector.




3. Remove the engine oil level sensor C-clip (1).




4. Remove the engine oil level sensor fasteners (1).





Note: Replace the O-ring around the level sensor.

5. Remove the engine oil level sensor (1) from the oil pan.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the engine oil level sensor (1).





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the engine oil level sensor fastener (1) and tight to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




3. Install the engine oil level sensor C-clip (1).

4. Connect the oil level sensor electrical connector.

5. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement Service and Repair.
