Engine Front Cover Removal




1. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner bolt (1).

2. Remove the accessory drive belt tensioner (2).




3. Remove the engine front cover bolts (2-6, 8).

Note: Inspect around the edges of the cover for pry locations (9). Use a suitable tool at the pry locations to assist with removal of the cover.

4. Remove the engine front cover (1).

5. Remove the front oil seal (7) with an appropriate tool, and discard.
