Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube Replacement (LTG)

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement Service and Repair.




3. Remove the charge air cooler inlet air tube bolts (1) from the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2).




4. Pull the release clip (1) outward and disconnect the charge air cooler inlet air hose (2) from the charge air cooler.

5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) to the vehicle.

2. Connect the charge air cooler inlet air hose (2) to the charge air cooler and engage the retaining clip (1).




3. Install the charge air cooler inlet air tube bolts (1) to the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

4. Install the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement Service and Repair.

5. Lower the vehicle.
