BULLETIN COVERS:
A 1986 C/K truck or a 1987 R/V truck with a 117 mm manual transmission may have a shift lever rattle or buzz condition in 1st and 2nd gear.

SERVICE ACTION:
The rattle/buzz can be repaired by using a 1985 or prior model year shift lever assembly.

Only chrome plated shift lever assemblies are available for service. These are completely interchangeable with the original equipment black painted shift levers.
