Low or High Shift Points
1. Oil pressure Check vacuum modulator assembly, vacuum line connections, modulator valve, and pressure regulator valve train.2. Governor may have sticking valve or feed holes that are leaking, plugged or damaged.
3. Detent solenoid may be stuck open or loose
4. Control valve assembly. Check detent, 3-2, and 1-2 shift valve trains, and check spacer plate gaskets for positioning.
5. Check case for porosity, missing or leaking intermediate plug.
