SUBJECT:
SECTION 1OA1 - REVISED ILLUSTRATION FOR DOOR TRIM PANEL REMOVAL

MODELS:
1991-94 CHEVROLET AND GMC C/K TRUCKS

The following information represents new and/or revised information for Section 10A1 found under DOOR TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT.

FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT

CAUTION:
Removing door trim panel without removing the screw behind door handle bezel will result in damage to trim panel.





Remove or Disconnect (Figure 1)

Tools Required:

J 24595-C Trim Pad Retainer Clip Remover
J 9886-01 Door Handle Clip Remover

1. Door handle bezel.

2. Trim panel screws.

3. Window handle (if used) with J 9886-01. Refer to Window Regulator Handle Replacement.

4. Retainers from the inner door panel.

^ Use J 24595-C to remove the retainers.

5. Door trim panel.

6. Bezel with switches through cut-out in trim panel.

Install or Connect (Figure 1)

1. Retainers to the door trim panel if any remained in the door.

^ Replace any broken retainers.

2. Bezel with switches through cut-out in trim panel.

3. Door trim to the door.

^ Put the trim pad in place on the door and push the retainers into the holes on the door.

4. Window handle (if used). Refer to Window Handle Regulator Replacement.

5. Armrest screws.

6. Door handle bezel.
