Disassemble

1. Press out input shaft bearing using input shaft press tube tool No. J36183 or equivalent, and a hydraulic press.

2. Remove shift rail front housing bushing using slide hammer with pilot bearing puller and shift rail bushing remover, tool Nos. J368OO and J239O7 or equivalents.

3. Disassemble vent but do not remove from case.

4. Remove gasket material from case.
