Disassemble

1. Place selector arm plates and shift rail, in neutral position.

2. Turn shift rail counterclockwise until selector arm disengages from selector arm plates and selector arm roll pin is accessible, selector arm contacts 1st-2nd shift fork.

3. Using suitable punch, remove selector arm roll pin and remove shift rail.

4. Remove shift forks, selector arm plates, selector arm, roll pin and interlock plate, then remove shift rail oil seal and O-ring using screwdriver.

5. Using hammer and punch, remove shift rail plug, then remove selector arm plates and nylon inserts from shift forks, noting position of plates and inserts for assembly reference.
