Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Front and Roof Marker Lamps

1. If one side of front marker lamps is operating, check condition of bulb(s) that are not operating. If bulb(s) are good, LOCATE and REPAIR open in BRN (9) wire and BLK (150) wire.
2. If none of marker lamps operate, use the diagnostic procedures.
3. If at least one roof marker lamp is operating, check condition of bulb(s) that do not operate. If bulb(s) are good, LOCATE and REPAIR open in WHT (45) wire and BLK (150) wire.
4. If none of the roof marker lamps operate, use diagnostic procedures.

Daytime Running Lamps

1. Place Park Brake in OFF position and Ignition Switch in RUN.
2. Verify condition of DRL, GAGES and A/C HTR Fuses. If blown, locate and repair source of overload. Then replace fuse.
3. Place Light Switch in ON and Headlamp Dimmer Switch to HIGH BEAM. If HIGH BEAM headlamp(s) are inoperative, refer to HIGH BEAM LAMP(S) DO NOT OPERATE. If High Beam Headlamps operate, place Light Switch to OFF and follow the diagnostic procedures.
4. If the HIGH BEAMS LAMP(S) are operative, use the following diagnostic procedures, after placing the Light Switch to OFF position.
