Disassemble

1. Remove snap ring and direct clutch driving hub from forward clutch housing, per figure.

2. Remove forward clutch hub.

3. Remove thrust washers, clutch plates and dished plate.




4. Remove snap ring, spring and retainer assembly using spring compressor tool No. J-23327 or equivalent, per figure.

5. Remove piston, then seals from piston.

6. Remove seal from forward clutch housing.

7. Clean all components.
