No 3-4 Shift or Rough 3-4 Shift
1. Governor weights binding.2. Governor valve stuck.
3. Governor drive gear retaining pin missing or loose.
4. Governor drive gear damaged.
5. Governor support pin in case too long or short.
6. Oil pump assembly faces not flat.
7. Pump cover retainer and ball assembly omitted or damaged.
8. Accumulator valve, throttle valve, TV limit valve, 3-2 control valve, 1-2 shift valve train or 2-3 shift valve train stuck.
9. Manual valve link bent or damaged.
10. Valve body assembly spacer plates or gaskets incorrect, damaged or incorrectly installed.
11. Incorrect 2-4 servo assembly band apply pin.
12. Missing or damaged 2-4 servo seals.
13. Porosity in 2-4 servo pistons, cover and case.
14. Damaged 2-4 servo piston seal grooves.
15. Plugged or missing orifice cup plug in 2-4 servo assembly.
16. Third accumulator retainer and ball assembly leaking.
17. Porosity in 3-4 accumulator piston or bore.
18. 3-4 accumulator piston seal or seal grooves damaged.
19. Plugged or missing orifice cup plug.
20. Restricted case oil passage.
21. Faulty input housing assembly. Refer to "No 2-3 Shift or 2-3 Shift Slipping, Rough or Hunting."
22. 2-4 band assembly worn or incorrectly installed.
