Preliminary Inspection

Before beginning diagnosis, make a visual inspection for the following and repair as needed:

PRELIMINARY INSPECTION

^ Check "GAGES" 20 Amp fuse.
^ Check for bare, broken, or disconnected wires.
^ Check for binding or misadjusted cable assembly.
^ Check for damaged or mispositioned brake switch.

If preliminary inspection reveals no solution, follow the functional check.
