Condition

Some customers may comment that the sliding side door is hard to open.

Cause

The door trim panel may be contacting the primary seal in the lower comer.

Correction





1. With the door closed, measure 51 mm (2 in) up from the perimeter of the carpet and 25 mm (1 in) from the back of the edge of the carpet.

2. Drill a 7 mm (1/4 in) hole in the lower corner of the trim.

3. Install the retainer.
