Low Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Cycling Clutch Switch And H Valve Assembly:

Removal
1. Remove the electrical wires to the switch.
2. Remove the (2) screws at the plumbing sealing plate.
3. Wrap a rag around the capillary tube at the well opening.
4. Pull tube out of well while holding rag firmly around the tube so that grease stays in well. Be careful so that you don't bend tube.

NOTE: It is important for proper A/C performance that the grease is retained in the well.

Installation
1. Carefully insert capillary tube into grease filled well.
2. Fasten cycling clutch switch to refrigerant plumbing plate with (2) screws and tighten to 1.7 to 2.3 N.m (15 to 20 in. lbs.).
3. Reconnect wires.
4. Check operation.
