Vacuum Advance Test

1. Run engine at 2500 RPM, then momentarily disconnect vacuum hose from distributor and check for advance.
2. If advance is excessive, check condition of vacuum controller spring and replace as necessary. If there is no advance, or advance is insufficient, inspect breaker plate and diaphragm and correct as necessary.
