Test 15-Step A, Fault Code 11/12 - DIST. Pick-Up Coil Circuit

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then remove coil wire from distributor cap and position 1/4 inch from a good engine ground.
2. Disconnect distributor reference pickup connector, then turn ignition switch to Run position.
3. Connect a jumper wire between reference pickup coil connector terminal Nos. 2 and 3. Make and break this connection several times.
4. If spark is present at coil wire, proceed to Test 15 step B.
5. If no spark is present, proceed to Test 15 step C.
