SYMPTOM/CONDITION
Heater and air conditioning control knobs loosen and fall off.
DIAGNOSIS
If the control knobs can be removed with less than 10 pounds of force, they must be secured with adhesive.
PARTS REQUIRED
1 Mopar/Loctite Super Adhesive PN 4318033
ILLUSTRATION 1:
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Apply Mopar/Loctite Super Adhesive, PN 4318033, to the control knob as shown in Illustration 1.
2. Immediately push the control knob onto the control lever and let cure for one hour. Make sure the control knob is oriented so as not to get adhesive on the faceplate.
