1A Checking For Spark at Spark Plug Wires

1. Disconnect a spark plug wire and insert a suitable screwdriver into spark plug wire terminal.
2. While holding screwdriver by handle, position screwdriver shaft approximately 1/4 inch from a good engine ground, then crank engine.
3. If spark is present, proceed to Test 2.
4. If no spark or 1 or 2 sparks are noted, proceed to step B.
