Electrical Test at Servo

1. Before servo test is performed, check servo for proper ground.
2. Test brown wire w/red tracer as follows:
a. Connect a test lamp between ground and brown wire with red tracer.
b. Place ignition switch and speed control switch in the "On" position. Test lamp should go on.
c. Push in "set" button. Test lamp should go out and a click should be heard at the servo.
d. Release "set" button. Test lamp should go on and another click should be heard at the servo.
e. If test lamp does not light as specified, check for a blown fuse, faulty wiring or defective speed control switch. If clicks are not heard at servo, servo is defective.
3. Test white wire w/red tracer as follows:
a. Connect a test lamp between ground and white wire with red tracer.
b. Place ignition switch and speed control switch in the "On" position. Test lamp should be off.
c. Push in "set" button. Test lamp should be on while set button is depressed.
d. If test lamp does not light as specified, check for defective speed control switch or faulty wiring.
4. Test blue wire w/red tracer as follows:
a. Connect a test lamp between ground and blue wire with red tracer.
b. Place ignition switch and speed control switch in the "On" position. Test lamp should go on.
c. If test lamp does not light as specified, check for faulty wiring, brake switch, clutch switch or speed control switch.
